We are still in a very good pattern. The report is the same as the last three weeks! We are looking forword to another good week, especially with weather finally stabilizing. Enjoy the holiday and go fishing!
This week’s report is the same as last week. The weather has been unstable but this has not affected the good fishing on the area lakes. Go fish!
Fishing activity on the area lakes continues to be good. Walleyes are being caught from shore on Lake Emily using lighted bobbers and live bait. Walleyes in 22-24 feet of water on Lake Minnewaska using live bait and spinners. Sunfish and bass on Lake Minnewaska has been good this past week. Lake Reno still good for walleyes, bass, and sunnies. Get out and catch some fish!
Long Lake still good for walleyes but this will slow up very soon. Lake Emily is still good for walleyes on the west side. Shore fishing after dark has been best on Emily. Bass and sunfish are good on Minnewaska. Walleyes on Waska are being caught in 22-25 feet of water using live bait. No reports from other area lakes.
The report is same as last week. The best walleye lake this past week has been Long Lake. Bass fishing on Lake Minnewaska has been good. Use spinnerbaits or leeches in shallow water for best results. The rest of information is same as last week. Nice stable weather is going to improve the fishing.
The secret for walleyes on Lake Minnewaska is to fish deep(22-24 feet) of water using live bait and spinners. People are still catching sunfish in the Starbuck marina using waxworms. Bass season opens Saturday and Minnewaska will be good. Bass should be shallow in the bulrushes. Still catching walleyes on Lake Emily but it is extremely weedy. Sunfish and walleyes have been good on Lake Reno. Reno will also be good for bass on Saturday. Hopefully the weather is good and everyone has a good holiday weekend!
Still learning pic process. Sorry. Northern pike was caught by Phil Messner. Weight was 9 lbs. and length was 34 inches. Caught on Pomme de terre.
About the same as the last report. Some walleyes being caught on Long Lake. Lake Emily weeds are terrible already. Very little activity due to miserable weather. We still have spot tail shiners!
