Sunnie fishing on Minnewaska is very good. Nice size and lots of them. Northern pike are being caught in 10 feet of water using spoons. Bass fishing is still good. Walleyes were hard to find this past week.
Most people are fishing for sunnies on Minnewaska and having good luck. Bass are still in 14-16 feet of water and are being caught on crankbaits. Walleyes in 22-24 feet of water and being caught on crawlers. Northern pike activity has been good in 8-10 feet of water using spoons. Reno is still good for crappies in northwest bay. No reports from other area lakes.

No reports from Emily, may have slowed down. Minnewaska is still good for walleyes in 22-24 feet of water using live bait with spinners. Largemouth and smallmouth bass seem to be in 12-14 feet of water. Sunnies and crappies are being caught using live bait in 10-12 feet of water. Good crappie action on the west side of lake Reno.

Fishing activity on the area lakes continues to be good. Walleyes are being caught from shore on Lake Emily using lighted bobbers and live bait. Walleyes in 22-24 feet of water on Lake Minnewaska using live bait and spinners. Sunfish and bass on Lake Minnewaska has been good this past week. Lake Reno still good for walleyes, bass, and sunnies. Get out and catch some fish!
Long Lake still good for walleyes but this will slow up very soon. Lake Emily is still good for walleyes on the west side. Shore fishing after dark has been best on Emily. Bass and sunfish are good on Minnewaska. Walleyes on Waska are being caught in 22-25 feet of water using live bait. No reports from other area lakes.
The report is same as last week. The best walleye lake this past week has been Long Lake. Bass fishing on Lake Minnewaska has been good. Use spinnerbaits or leeches in shallow water for best results. The rest of information is same as last week. Nice stable weather is going to improve the fishing.
The secret for walleyes on Lake Minnewaska is to fish deep(22-24 feet) of water using live bait and spinners. People are still catching sunfish in the Starbuck marina using waxworms. Bass season opens Saturday and Minnewaska will be good. Bass should be shallow in the bulrushes. Still catching walleyes on Lake Emily but it is extremely weedy. Sunfish and walleyes have been good on Lake Reno. Reno will also be good for bass on Saturday. Hopefully the weather is good and everyone has a good holiday weekend!
