Still no ice making temps. Reports have fishermen on Little Mary, Long, Emily, and smaller lakes towards Alexandria. We need colder weather!
The snow really slowed fishing and all reports. Lake Emily would be the best bet to try. Be safe and careful! Minnewaska Bait & Tackle annual winter fishing contest is now on. Check KMRS-KKOK website for more details.
Emily has 3-4"of ice. Reno in the northeast bay has 2-3" of ice. There had been lots of fishing but with this 6-8" of snow I would assume this will slow all area fishing. Will update as needed.
Nothing for open water fishing. Unconfirmed reports has 2" of ice on west side of Emily. Also some smaller lakes have iced over. Will update this report when I have more information.
Not enough people fishing for an accurate report. Everyone is waiting for ice.
Same as last 2-3 weeks only fewer die hards still fishing. Reno and Waska are still best two lakes.
Fall walleye bite continues. Only die hard anglers going, but fishing is good. Reno and Waska are the best area lakes to try.
Same as last week. Weather has been bad this past week and there have been fewer die hard walleye fishermen going out.
Still a good fall walleye bite happening. Jigs and minnows in 14-18 feet of water has been best on Waska. A nice thing is this bite is happening during the day. A lot of boats headed to Reno this past week. No reports back but considering the traffic it means walleye are hitting. Still boats heading for Long lake. No reports from Emily. Crappies on north end of Osakis.
Same as last two weeks. As reported this strong walleye bite should continue all the way to ice up.
